Spiritual Formation on the Run

My book, Spiritual Formation on the Run has been selling steadily since it's launch in January this year. Many persons have been blessed by reading it and I am so happy. I pray that the Lord will continue to use the book to touch lives.

2nd print of the books arrived today.

I hope you will support the ministry by buying copies for friends to give as Christmas presents.
I do not receive a single cent from my writing and publishing. The proceeds for this book goes to support the 1st Johor Bahru Boys Brigade's activities.

You can order copies from your local bookstores (it will help me if you ask them to order if they do not have stock), Amazon.com or from me via draltang@yahoo.com

Hello Alex,

I hope you don't mind answering a couple of questions I am asking all believers everywhere;

Do you believe that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to start a new religion called Christianity?

And Where is the text in the bible that supports the popular Christian belief that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to start a new religion called Christianity?

Hi Bruce,

No, I do not believe that God sent His only Son to start a new religion. I think that starting a new religion is the last thing on His mind. He sent His Son so that people can be reconcile to Him and live a life in a way that is worthy of Him.

The early Christians are called followers of the Way. Even the term Christians are what others called the followers of the way. God is not really interested in religions. He is interested in relationships. Religions is a human invention.

And Where is the text in the bible that supports the popular Christian belief that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to start a new religion called Christianity?

There is no text that states God sent His Son to start a new religion called Christianity.

Interesting questions.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your candid answer I truly appreciate it and would like you to know, that you sir, like me, are a minority.

I'm sure you know the question is ridiculous. But then we live in a ridiculous time. With thousands of Christian denominations saying they speak for God.

I am doing some preliminary work for a documentary called "Bad Christian".

May...

The Lord bless and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks. It is sad if our understanding of Christianity is in a 'minority.'

Do keep in touch regarding your documentary called 'Bad Christians.' Sounds interesting.
